These units make tasks such as fullerene soot or essential oll extraction much, much easier! This Jumbo Soxhlet extraction apparatus is equipped with a glass flange at the top of the extractor that is formed with a groove in the flat portion of the mating surface to accept a Teflon¨-covered silicone o-ring, permitting grease-free assembly. The adapter between the condenser and extractor has a top outer joint and a glass flange which attaches to the extractor body with a CG-141 stainless steel clamp.
This complete apparatus consists of a condenser, extractor, round bottom flask, adapter, Teflon® covered O-ring and clamp. Teflon® sleeves and heating mantles must be ordered separately, of course.
Available with extractor capacities of 500, 1500, and 5000 mL. The overall assembled height of the 500 mL system is 50" (127 cm).
The 5,000 mL complete system has a shipping weight of 35 lb (16 kg) in two boxes, one 19" x 16" 13" (48 x 41 x 33 cm) for the flask and another 42" x 20" x 16" (107 x 51 x 41 cm) for the remaining components.
