Vortexers

The pulse vortexers shown here create a funnel-like vortex in sample solutions and then pulse to collapse the vortex before creating a vortex again. This time-delayed pulse-collapse sequence helps to mix the upper and lower strata more thoroughly and reproducibly. See also:
