Class A

This page lists extinguishers that have solely a Class A rating. For extinguishers that can combat multiple threats (AB, ABC) go back to the By Class page and select one of those classes.

Class A  fires involve ordinary materials like burning paper, lumber, cardboard, plastics etc. They do not involve flammable liquids, energized equipment, burning metals etc.
