Foam

Both AFFF (aquous film-forming foam) and FFFP (film-forming fluoroprotein) extinguishers are used on Class A (ordinary combustibles) and B (Flammable liquid) fires.  Both provide exceptional knock down and penetrating ability for use on deep seated Class A fires and provides a foam blanket to prevent reignition of flammable liquid spills. And, of course, foam provides easier clean-up when compared with traditional dry chemical agents.
