VaporTrap™ Filter for VOC Vapors Inside Flammable Storage Cabinets, 2/pkg

Justrite's VaporTrap™ Filter reduces harmful VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) vapors inside your chemical storage and flammable solvent safety cabinets. The activated carbon filter medium is contained in a stainless steel mesh cartridge that adsorbs the VOC vapors.  A sturdy 4" x 5-1/2" (102 mm x 139 mm) magnetized base offers flexible placement anywhere within the cabinet. A date notation area on label serves as a reminder for replacement.  These traps are ideal for unvented cabinets where particularly odiferous compounds are stored.

Application Note:  Due to variables such the specific chemicals, their vapor pressures, temperature, humidity, adsorbent age, etc., it is difficult to estimate VOC vapor absorption rates. The Justrite VaporTrap™ Carbon Filter is not intended to be used as a substitute for using safe closed containers as required by OSHA and the EPA. It is important to clean up spills and residues from the cabinet and containers.

If you have an actively vented cabinet, these filters should not be necessary. However, owners of such cabinets should consider using Safe-T-Vent™ thermally-actuated dampers (item # J-25777) in such installations.
