Eagle poleythylene laboratory safety cans reduce the danger of explosions resulting from the ignition of vapors of flammable liquids. Constructed of high density polyethylene (HDPE), these cans are ideal for use in scientific, industrial, and hospital laboratories.
These cans are impact resistant, non-corroding, and will not rust. They are impervious to many liquid chemicals, solvents, and corrosives. Resistance charts are available upon request. The metal fittings and flame arrestor are made of stainless steel. A brass bonding/grounding lug is included. The oblong shape conserves shelf space. Available in red, white or yellow in 2-quart or 1-gallon (see item # 02122) sizes.
FM-approved and meets OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910.106.
