Tyvek® Coveralls, Zipper Front, Elastic Wrists and Ankles, Hood, Boots

These DuPont™ TY122S coveralls are made of Tyvek® and feature a non-sparking polyester zipper closure, hood and boots. The attached respirator-fit hood with elastic around face opening, is designed to cover the neck and chin and to fit around a respirator face mask. The polyester zipper extends to the chin for complete coverage of the neck area. The attached Tyvek® FC boots have a special coating to provide added skid-resistance. These overalls have a set sleeve pattern for greater arm movement and the wrist and face openings are elasticized to ensure good fit. Serged seams afford extra durability and the low cost per unit allows workers to dispose of them when soiled.

Tyvek® provides inherent barrier protection against dry particulate hazards. Even after abrasion, it stops sub-micron particles better than reusable garments.

Tyvek® spunbonded olefin is a unique, nonwoven material. Resistant to penetration, it is chemically and biologically inert, low linting and static free until laundered. Tyvek® garments are not flame resistant and should not be used around heat, flames, sparks or in potentially flammable or explosive environments.
