Ohaus Mini Hotplate

This product was discontinued in 2023. The closest match is the model e-G21HP04C Guardian hotplate which has a 4" x 4" top plate (but a larger footprint, alas).

Ohaus Mini Hotplates (Model HSMNHP4CAL) are rugged, compact units that heat up to 1,000 mL of liquid. The chemical-resistant ceramic top plate has an easy to clean, reflective white surface that measures 4" x 4" (10.2 cm x 10.2 cm).  The housing is constructed of heat-resistant polymer that is cool to the touch and chemical resistant.  A bi-metallic thermostat offers reliable temperature control and the powerful heater reaches maximum temperature, 500 °C, in only minutes.  A built in support rod holder with locking knob at the rear of the unit accepts the optional Support Rod and Clamp Kit (item # 23260).  

This unit can be run in conditions from 5 to 40 °C (41 to 104 °F) and is available in 120 or 230 V.  It comes with a 2 year, industry leading limited warranty on parts and labor.

This model replaces the obsolete Talboys Basic Mini Hotplate (953201) and the Talboys Ergonomic Basic Mini Hotplate (984TA5AHPUS).
