Description

These general purpose columns can be used for gravity or flash chromatography. Each has a Teflon® stopcock and a reservoir with a 35/20 spherical joint. The column is constructed using medium wall tubing for extra durability. It has a sealed COARSE porosity fritted disc to support the column packing material. The lower end of the column has a round bottom. The reservoirs range in capacity from 100 to 2,000 mL.

This series of columns is available with inner diameters of 0.5 to 3.0 inches (13 to 75 mm) and lengths from 8 to 18 inches (20.3 to 45.7 cm).  For additional sizes not listed below, please inquire. All columns are available with an optional clear plastic coating (temperature range -20 to 140 °F) by special order. Optional flow controllers (CG-1201) are available for flash chromatography use.

The effective length listed in the size selection menu is the length of the the full-width column above the stopcock.
