Ohaus Cent-O-Gram® Overhead Mechanical Balance

The Ohaus Model 311-000 Cent-O-Gram® Overhead Mechanical Balance has four beams to easily determine mass. This balance offers the accuracy and convenience of an integrated weigh-below balance while allowing students to visualize mass measurement principles. The hanging pan system offers ten times the readability of Ohaus triple beam balances. For a similar model with greater readability see the Dial-O-Gram® top-loading balance (item # H-310-000).

Features include a self-aligning beam design, special floating agate bearings, a counter-balancing knob to provide quick zeroing, and magnetic damping for quicker results. This durable balance is made with aluminum pressure casting for the base and beam assembly and has a removable stainless steel pan. Dimensions: 360 mm (14.2 in) L x 166 mm (6.5 in) D x 249 mm (9.8 in) H. Weight: 1.4 kg (3.1 lb).
