These rigid 3-ring Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders binders are bright yellow polyethylene for high visibility. A 36" long chain is included for securing where needed. They are available in 1.5" or 3" ring diameters to hold up to 300 or 600 sheets. They are available in your choice of English or trilingual English/French/Spanish. The English binders read "Safety Data Sheets" and "GHS" on the cover and spine. The trilingual versions add the text "Hoja de Datos de Seguridad" in Spanish and "Fiches de sécurité" in French.
TECHNICAL NOTE - The 2014 revision of 29 CFR 1910.1200, the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard incorporated elements of the Globally Harmonized Standard of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and is now fully in force. What were previously called Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's) are now more simply termed Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Regardless, OSHA has always required that all facilities that handle hazardous materials must make these sheets "readily available" and "without barriers" to their employees while they are in their workplaces. These handy binders are a simple way to meet this OSHA requirement.
SDSs' are not included. You should be obtaining these from the suppliers or manufacturers of your hazardous materials and most companies now post those on their web sites. You can also try to search on the Internet if all else fails.
