These 10.75" x 10.75" Class 2.3 Inhalation Hazard hazardous materials placards meet U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) placard specifications and conform to Canada's Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations. Featuring the standard white Class 2.3 design with the skull-and-crossbones symbol in a black diamond, INHALATION HAZARD designation and 2 division number, these placards are designed for identifying Class 2.3 toxic gases when placarding is required.

DOT: Class 2.3 — Poison Gas; placard specified under 49 CFR §172.540. The DOT regulations permit “INHALATION HAZARD” as optional text on the POISON GAS placard.

TDG: Class 2.3 — Toxic Gases; placard specified under TDG Regulations Part 4. The TDG regulations specifically provide an INHALATION HAZARD placard for toxic-by-inhalation gases.

DOT/TDG: This placard design complies with the applicable DOT and Canadian TDG placard specifications. Actual placarding requirements, including when placards must be displayed, depend on the material, quantity, packaging and mode of transportation.

They are available in three different materials:

Material	Features
Polycoated Tagboard	Made from a semi-rigid paper card stock with a water resistant coating on both sides. This material is intended for single trip usage, at an economical price. Intended for use with placard holders.
Rigid Plastic	Manufactured on durable plastic able to withstand repeated usage under any weather conditions. The ink is applied using a silk screen process to ensure print quality and resist fading. Intended for use with placard holders.
Permanent Self-Adhesive Vinyl	Intended for permanent application on the transport vehicle. They are constructed with an outdoor grade 4-mil vinyl with an aggressive permanent adhesive backing. Once applied, these placards provide a permanent DOT marking solution.
