These 10.75" x 10.75" Class 7 Radioactive hazardous materials placards meet U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) placard specifications and are also suitable for use under Canada's Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations.  Featuring the standard yellow-and-white Class 7 design with the radioactive trefoil symbol, RADIOACTIVE designation and 7 class number, these placards are designed for identifying Class 7 radioactive materials when placarding is required.

DOT: Class 7 — Radioactive; placard specified under 49 CFR §172.556.

TDG: Class 7 — Radioactive Material; placard specified under TDG Regulations Part 4. The TDG Class 7 placard design permits the word “RADIOACTIVE” as optional text.

DOT/TDG: This placard design complies with the applicable DOT and Canadian TDG placard specifications. The specific Class 7 placard required for a shipment is determined by the applicable radioactive material and requirements under Canada's Packaging and Transport of Nuclear Substances Regulations, 2015. Actual placarding requirements also depend on the material, quantity, packaging and mode of transportation.

They are available in three different materials:

Material Features
Polycoated Tagboard Made from a semi-rigid paper card stock with a water resistant coating on both sides. This material is intended for single trip usage, at an economical price. Intended for use with placard holders.
Rigid Plastic Manufactured on durable plastic able to withstand repeated usage under any weather conditions. The ink is applied using a silk screen process to ensure print quality and resist fading. Intended for use with placard holders. 
Permanent Self-Adhesive Vinyl Intended for permanent application on the transport vehicle. They are constructed with an outdoor grade 4-mil vinyl with an aggressive permanent adhesive backing. Once applied, these placards provide a permanent DOT marking solution.
