These 10.75" x 10.75" DANGEROUS hazardous materials placards meet U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) placard specifications for use when multiple hazardous materials requiring different placards are transported together. Featuring the standard red-and-white DANGEROUS placard design with red upper and lower sections, a white center band and black DANGEROUS designation, these placards are designed for use as an alternative to displaying separate DOT placards for certain mixed loads of hazardous materials.

DOT: DANGEROUS placard specified under 49 CFR §172.521. It may be used on a freight container, unit load device, transport vehicle or rail car containing non-bulk packages of two or more categories of hazardous materials that require different Table 2 placards, subject to applicable quantity and other restrictions.

TDG: The Canadian TDG Regulations provide for a similar DANGER placard under Section 4.16, but the Canadian placard uses the designation DANGER, not DANGEROUS. This DANGEROUS placard does not conform to the Canadian TDG DANGER placard design.

DOT/TDG: This product is DOT compliant only and is not represented as a Canadian TDG-compliant DANGER placard.

These placards are sold in packages of 25 or 100 only.

They are available in three different materials:

Material Features
Polycoated Tagboard Made from a semi-rigid paper card stock with a water resistant coating on both sides. This material is intended for single trip usage, at an economical price. Intended for use with placard holders.
Rigid Plastic Manufactured on durable plastic able to withstand repeated usage under any weather conditions. The ink is applied using a silk screen process to ensure print quality and resist fading. Intended for use with placard holders.
Permanent Self-Adhesive Vinyl Intended for permanent application on the transport vehicle. They are constructed with an outdoor grade 4-mil vinyl with an aggressive permanent adhesive backing. Once applied, these placards provide a permanent DOT marking solution.

Magnetic versions are also available by special order (please inquire).
