Blank Metallic Conductivity Test Labels for Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers, 300/roll

These blank metallic conductivity test labels are ideal for recording annual conductivity inspections of carbon dioxide fire extinguishers.   They provide areas to clearly mark the month and year of the inspection as well as a space for the technician's name.  The friction of carbon dioxide being released from a CO₂ extinguisher generates static electricity. To minimize the static charge hazard to the operator, extinguishers contain a continuous metal braid inside the rubber hose cover that creates a circuit between the cylinder and the point of discharge. NFPA 10, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers, requires that an annual conductivity test be performed on this hose assmebly. Hoses that pass the test are required to have a label attached to the hose.

These labels measure 3.0” x 3/4” and come 300 per roll.
