THESE US-MADE MASKS ARE FDA AND NIOSH APPROVED FOR SURGICAL AND HEALTHCARE USE.
ALG Health's Patriot Mask Model PT-N95F-01S Foldable N95 Filtering Facepiece Respirators are both NIOSH-approved (approval number TC-84A-9288) and FDA-approved (FDA/NIOSH MOU 225-18-006) for use in surgical and healthcare settings. They are manufactured in the USA in Bryan, Ohio and meet the DoD's Berry Amendment (10 U.S.C. 2533a) requirements.
These surgical-grade masks have a 99% BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency) and 99.7% Filter Efficiency. They are ideal for use in medical clinics, operating rooms, surgical applications, laboratory procedures, infection control protocols, emergency planning/preparedness as well as in standard N95 non-medical uses. A previous FEMA restriction on the export of this product outside the US has been lifted, so our Canadian customers can now order these respirators.
These one-size-fits-most masks fold flat so you can easily stash them in your pocket or purse when you are on the go. The latex-free Nylon string head straps are fusion welded and staple-free for durability and comfort. The soft inner inner layer feels great on your face. An adjustable aluminum nosepiece with Spandex filament sponge bar helps ensure a good fit. These masks come with a 3 year expiration date. A PDF file containing the instructions, cautions/limitations, manufacturer information and NIOSH approval information is available for download.
These vertical duckbill style masks are sold here in soft packs of 20 or boxes of 40 (with two 20 packs inside) as well as cases of 20 boxes (800 masks total). For volume purchases please contact us by phone or email. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WE CAN NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON THIS ITEM.
Technical Note 1: The metal nosepiece is folded nearly flat when new. While this product is intended to be disposable, if you plan to reuse the mask we recommend that you do not refold the nosepiece between wearings to keep the metal from failing prematurely.
Technical Note 2: Respirators with KN designations such as KN95 are not NIOSH-approved. While the US FDA has issued an Emergency Use Authorization for unapproved respirators under certain conditions, the market for KN95's is fraught with substandard and counterfeit products and should be considered only when approved alternatives are unavailable. A recent study by ECRI determined that up up to 70% of imported non-NIOSH certified respirators exhibit filtration performance "significantly inferior" to NIOSH-certified N95's.
Tax tip! The Internal Revenue Service has stated that the purchase of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks, hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes, for the primary purpose of preventing the spread of coronavirus are deductible medical expenses. They are also eligible for reimbursement under health flexible spending accounts such as FSA's and HSA's.
