The rack-mountable Mano-Watch™ uses a solid state controller to maintain a set pressure for vacuum distillations without the need for a mercury manometer. This unit features a 4-digit LED display with 3 LEDS to indicate process value displayed, alarm activated, and output power on. Alarm settings include high, low and deviation modes. Connections for the sensor and vacuum solenoid control are right in the front, as well as the power and alarm switches.
The solid-state capacitive vacuum sensor (shown here but SOLD SEPARATELY as item #20090-B) is detachable via a quick, self-sealing, make/break connector (no cord twisting required) for remote installation from the controller or for quick replacement. The sensor connects to your system via a 1/4-18 NPT 316 L SS fitting.
The electric output on the front right goes to a 120 V solenoid assembly (SOLD SEPARATELY as item #20900-C) which controls the vacuum source as shown in the schematic diagram to the left.
If you want the complete system, you must order all three components.
The load rating is 1,200 watts resistive, the sensor is accurate to +1% full scale, and the instrument works in the 1 to 760 mm Hg range. Control box weight: 8 lb (3.6 kg), dimensions 4" h x 5.75" w x 6.5" d (10 x 14.6 x 16.5 cm).
