OHAUS Lysing Bead Tubes
These ready-to-use Ohaus lysing bead tubes provide a convenient and easy tool for consistent sample homogenization, using wet or dry grinding. Each skirted, 2-ml, self-standing tube contains a pre-measured quantity of a molecular biology-grade grinding medium that effectively disrupts samples. The polyethylene tubes, grinding beads and caps are treated and tested to be DNase and RNase-free.
The color coded threaded caps provide for easy identification of seven distinct medium types:

These are supplied as 100 (2-ml) tubes per box for single-color caps. The Sample Kit contains a total of 14 tubes, 2 tubes of each of the 7 different colors.
