This handy adapter permits sublimation directly in any reaction vessel having a matching standard taper outer joint; just insert it and begin! The adapter has two components, the cold finger condensor and vacuum adapter. The adapter has a #18 Chem-Thread to allow for the vertical positioning of the cold finger in flasks or tubes from 250 to 1,000 mL. Vacuum is controlled using a 2 mm PTFE stopcock. The adapter joint size is medium length, but can be used in a full-length joint. For example, this model can be used in a 24/25 or a 24/40 outer joint.

The distance from the where the bulb flares out for the hose connection to the bottom of the condenser is approximately 227 mm. When used with a 24/25 joint, the maximum distance from the bottom of the joint to the bottom of the condenser is approximately 118 mm. Condenser diameter = 16 mm.

The replacement O-ring is CG-305-208, the replacement compression cap is CG-352-04, and the replacement stopcock plug is CG-424-77.
