1/2" Laboratory Bench Rod Sockets, Recessed Flange

WaterSaver's AAP103 rod sockets provide a sleek and simple alternative to traditional ring stands or surface-mounted frame feet. These sockets mount permanently into the benchtop and permit one to simply screw a 1/2"-13 male-theaded rod into the socket to provide instant vertical support when needed. They are ideal for temporary needs such as classroom demonstrations and provide far superior support to laboratory ring stands, but are also great for permanent installation. By counterboring during installation, the top of the recessed flange will be flush with the benchtop, permitting full use of the bench space when the rods are removed.

These rod sockets are have a brushed aluminum finish and are manufactured in the USA. For a similar rod socket with a surface flange see item # AAP104.

Use these rod sockets with AAP125 or SAP125 1/2" diameter threaded-end rods which are designed for vertical mounting.
