Like most of the other glassware in our catalog, this part is made from Schott Duran® glass or its equivalent. The term "full length" refers to the length of the ground glass portion only, not the length of glass attached to the joint. For example, 14 mm diameter standard taper joints are available in both 14/35 (full) and 14/20 (medium) lengths. For a discussion of standard taper joint sizing, see the Joints entry in the Glassware Gallery. In the product selection menu, OD stands for Outer Diameter of the glass tubing and W stands for Wall Thickness of the glass tubing.
The matching outer joint is also available as are the corresponding set of joints in the more common medium length. For an outer joint with identical tubing diameter and tooled rings, see CG-102.
