The Ohaus Compass™ CR Series of portable compact scales feature easy operation with 2 clearly marked buttons, slip-resistant feet, and an auto shut-off feature to conserve battery life. Each features mechanical and software overload protection to protect the weighing cell from damage and a external push button calibration (calibration masses not included). Powered by 3 AA batteries (included) with up to 300 hours of operational life or by optional AC adapter.
These balances have a large 5 x 5.2" (12.5 x 13.2 cm) weighing platform that makes them ideal for industrial, jewelry and home use applications including quality control, formulation, soil sampling, jewelry, postal weighing and dietary weighing. The design is stackable for educational use/storage. These models feature superior RF protection for accurate and stable results when used in production areas or near cell phones. Approvals for electrical and emissions include CE listed and FCC Class B Part 15 operation. They have CE and RCM compliance marks.
The CR221 has a 200 gram capacity and the CR621 has a 500 g capacity; both have 0.1 g readability. The CR2200 and CR5200 have 1,000 g and 2,000 g capacities, respectively, with 1 g readability. These scales can display in grams, ounces, troy ounces, and pennyweights as well in lb:oz format.
