Ohaus Explorer Plus™ Analytical Balances
The Ohaus Explorer Plus™ Analytical Balances are extremely accurate and durable, and are ideal for laboratory and industrial environments. The new Explorer EXP series offers a premium weighing performance, compliance support and traceability, and this flagship balance is crafted to meet the most demanding requirements of modern scientific research. The models have capacities of 120 g, 220 g, or 320 g, with a readability of 0.1 mg. The precision-machined, solid metal weighing cells coupled with Ohaus’ signature AutoCal™ internal calibration system ensure accurate, reproducible measurements.
Each unit features seamless setup with motorized leveling, anti-pinch auto doors, touchless sensors, ionizers, and draft shield lights. Also featured are a 7-inch glass touchscreen, chemical protection, and 2 modifiable status lights. Compliance is also ensured with a 4-level user system, password protection, and 100k internal system log. The time synchronization NTP function confirms data traceability to meet Pharmaceutical regulations.
Typical application modes include basic weighing, parts counting, check counting, percent weighing, check weighing, dynamic weighing, totalization, formulation, differential, density, determination, peak hold, pipette adjustment, SQC, fill weight variation, and flow rate control. Weight displays feature 18 weighing units, including Gram, Milligrams, Carat, Newton, Ounce, Troy Ounce, Grain, Pennyweight, Momme, msg, tl H, tl S, tl T, tcl, tola, baht, and 2 custom set options.
These balances have a metal base, ABS top housing, a 3.5”/90 mm diameter stainless steel pan, anti-static glass draftshield with flip-door top, a replaceable in-use cover, and are powered with an AC adapter (included). Communication via USB Host Type A (x2), USB Device Type B, USB Device Type C, Ethernet (RJ45), RS232, and an optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Dongle (accessory sold separately). Also featured are straightforward integration to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and hassle-free data transfer with a driverless HID, for easy data input.
