Ohaus Digital 6 Block Dry Block Heater

The Ohaus Digital 6 Block Dry Block Heater (HB6DG) has touch pad controls with easy-to-read, independent LED displays for temperature and time which provide repeatable and superior temperature stability. This unit is available in 120 and 230 V versions.

This 6 Block Heater accepts six of a variety of interchangeable Ohaus modular blocks (sold separately) at a time accommodating tube sizes from 0.2 mL micro-tubes to 50 mL centrifuge tubes. Samples are heated to temperature quickly and accurately with the PID temperature control. The integrated support rod holder with locking knob accepts the optional External Temperature Probe Kit (item #23157) to monitor actual block or sample temperature.

These heaters measure 20.9" x 8" x 3.5" and have a temperature range from ambient +5 °C to 120 °C. The heater can be run in environments from 18 to 33°C (64 to 91 °F), 20% to 80% relative humidity, non-condensing and comes with a 2 year warranty. Typical applications include denaturing proteins, DNA applications, ELISA and other immunoassay studies.
