Description

Use these filters with Justrite's HPLC Safety Disposal Cans to minimize odors and address environmental concerns.  The vent filters have quick-disconnects that snap easily onto the fitting of the cans.  This two stage filter captures 99% of liquid particulates released as gaseous vapor.  The carbon filter cartridge color indicating beads change from purple to black to indicate that replacement is necessary.  It simply twists onto the coalescing filter for an easy change.  The coalescing filter can be reused several times but it should be replaced after three or four carbon filter cycles.

Filters have either a stainless steel or polypropylene disconnect.  Choose the correct one based on the disconnects on the safety can   Staiiness steel must connect to stainless steel nd polypropylene must connect to polypropylene.

Meets EPA 40 CFR 264.173.   The FM approved Justrite safety disposal can has not been FM approved or tested in assembly with the HPLC filter attached. However, the container does comply with US OSHA 1910 and NFPA Code 30 requirements, both with and without the HPLC filter. Do not transport safety container while carbon filter is attached.  Use only Justrite' 2- and5-gallon round can only. Not compatible with oval cans.
