This Ohaus Incubating Cooling Orbital Shaker (Model ISICMBCDG) is designed to incubate samples from 10 °C below ambient to 65 °C. The unit features a variable speed microprocessor that provides consistent, uniform shaking. The units slowly increase speed to the desired set point and will restart if the power is interrupted. A triple eccentric drive with permanently lubricated ball bearings and maintenance-free brushless DC motor provides reliable service and continuous duty operation. All units have overload protection, audible and visual alarms when the system is obstructed or overloaded and touchpad controls with easy-to-read, independent LED displays for temperature, speed and time.
The tray can hold 2 Microplates or 2 optional Modular Tube Blocks in a variety of configurations. The shaker can be run in conditions from 5 to 40 °C (41 to 104 °F), maximum 80% relative humidity, non-condensing and comes with a 2 year warranty. Typical applications include immunoassays, hybridizations, cell cultures, bacterial & yeast cultures and suspensions, ELISA assays, PCR, enzyme reactions.
