Guardian APBF250-065 Modesty Curtains for Recessed Laboratory Units

The APBF250-065 modesty curtain assembly works with Guardian Equipment's recessed laboratory safety stations.  For standard horizontal-mounted showers and safety stations select the AP250-015, and for barrier-free horizontal showers and safety stations select the APBF250-015. Safety shower/station sold separately.

Effective August 2022, the APBF250-065 replaces former part number AP250-065. The APBF250-065 adds an optional ceiling support strut which attaches to the middle of the U-shaped rod and is available in 4, 8, and 12 foot lengths. NOTE: ordering an 8 or 12 foot length will incur (significant) additional freight charges that are NOT included in the price shown; we will contact you with the added shipping cost before shipment.

Application: In an emergency, it is imperative that contaminated clothing be removed as quickly as possible. However, employees may be reluctant to remove their clothing in the presence of co-workers (we've actually heard of cases where people have died trying to make it to a locker room rather than the nearest shower). A modesty curtain will protect the privacy of the user and permit disrobing while the shower unit is in operation. The curtain has a pocket in which a smock (not included) can be stored.

Installation: This unit is designed for use with horizontally mounted emergency showers and free-standing combination safety stations. It is furnished complete with a stainless steel track assembly for wall mounting. All necessary mounting brackets and clamps are included.

Curtain: White UV-resistant nylon curtain with ring hangers. The curtain has tie-back so it can be neatly stored when shower is not in use and has an interior pocket for storing a smock to be used after contaminated clothing is removed.

Without the ceiling support strut, this item ships in a box approximately 47" x 37" x 5" (119.4 x 94 x 12.7 cm) weighing approximately 19 pounds (8.6 kg).
