These replacement shower valves with actuating arms are for vertical and horizontal-mounted Guardian safety shower units. They are available in chrome-plated brass and stainless steel. Available options are:

AP601-335H (see Note 1) - 1" IPS Chrome Plated Brass Stay-Open Ball Valve with Actuating Arm (Horizontal Installation).
AP620-335H - 1" IPS Stainless Steel Stay-Open Ball Valve with Actuating Arm (Horizontal Installation).
AP601-335V (see Note 1) - 1" IPS Chrome Plated Brass Stay-Open Ball Valve with Actuating Arm (Vertical Installation).
AP620-335V - 1" IPS Stainless Steel Stay-Open Ball Valve with Actuating Arm (Vertical Installation).

Technical Note 1: The AP601-335H and AP601-335V replaced the AP600-335H and AP600-335V in 2023 to reflect a change in valve manufacturer, not a change in the valve itself. These designations were changed back in 2026. The two versions are interchangeable so if you order the AP601-335 H or V, you will be getting the corresponding AP600-335 version. There was no change in the stainless AP620 versions.

Technical Note 2: Guardian used to offer AP600-345H and AP600-345V self-closing valves. Self-closing valves are counter to ANSI requirements that safety shower valves remain open until manually closed and have been discontinued. If you need to replace one of these valves select the corresponding AP600-335 model.
