Bead Genie™ is a compact yet heavy-duty homogenizer that is ideal for lysing, extraction, or homogenization, utilizing a horizontal or reciprocating 19 mm vertical mixing motion. It comes with four microtube holders that are easily interchanged without additional tools. Both glass and stainless steel beads are supported for different types of samples. The speed range (500-4800 strokes per minutes) and timer (1 sec-99 min) are digitally adjustable to ensure reproducible results and fine control for varied protocols. A variable RUN/STOP time provides rapid pulsing for superior interval mixing.

These units are made of a solid metal casting with a coated aluminum housing and bottom plate with rubber feet, ram and protective sleeve. The Backlit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is clear and easy to read. The efficient DC motor and solid metal build enable aggressive 19 mm vertical agitation without shifting. It supports 100-240 VAC power inputs.
