These Ohaus PR Series balances are NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved, making them suitable for direct sale applications.  These balances are equipped with three essential weighing modes, RS-232 connectivity for data transfer and storage,  an easy-to-read, bright backlit display and a simple user interface.  The small footprint saves desktop space while providing a large weighing surface.

The PR523N comes with Ohaus' signature InCal™ internal calibration system while all other models require external calibration. These balances are NTEP Certified and Measurement Canada Approved and meet the Class II or Class III accuracy requirements in accordance with NIST Handbook 44 and Canada’s Weights and Measures Regulations.  Draft Shields are supplied standard for models with 1 mg (0.001 g) readability.

Typical application modes include basic weighing, parts counting and percent weighing.  Weigh displays include Gram, Milligrams, Kilogram, Ounce, Ounce Troy, Grain and Pounds. These balances have ABS  housing, a removable stainless steel pan, integrated weigh-below hook and security bracket.
