Ohaus Explorer™ Semi-Micro Balances

The Ohaus Explorer™ Semi-Micro Balances are ideal for laboratory work and research that requires accuracy to the hundred-thousandth. The models have capacities up to 220 g and resolutions up to 0.01 mg. The precision-machined, solid metal weighing cells coupled with Ohaus' signature AutoCal™ internal calibration system ensure accurate, reproducible measurements. The ultra-fast stabilization time (0.1 mg: ≤3 second, 0.01 mg: ≤8 second) and audible stability alert increases laboratory efficiency. Each unit features a detachable terminal with a large(5.7" diagonal), full-color VGA graphic display, 4-wire resistive touchscreen, QWERTY and numeric keypad. Four programmable touchless sensors allow the operator to perform common functions and commands with the swipe of a hand. The EX225D/AD and EX225/AD feature automated doors and built-in ionizers.

Typical application modes include weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, dynamic/animal weighing, formulation, density determination, pipette adjustment and SQC. Weigh displays include Gram, Milligrams, Kilogram, Newton, Pound, Ounce, Pound:Ounce (decimal or fractional), Ounce Troy, Pennyweight, Grain or Carat.

These balances have a metal base, ABS top housing, a 3.1" / 80 mm diameter stainless steel pan, anti-static glass draft shield with flip-top door, internal frameless draft shield, a replaceable in-use cover and are powered with an AC adaptor (included)
