Product Description
These scaffold status tags are designed specifically to work with our Secure-Status Safety Tag Holders (item # 12256) but can also be used as a standard tag.
These scaffold inspection tags help workers comply with the OSHA Scaffolding Standard, 29 CFR 19126.451 paragraph (f)(3) requirement that "scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity."
The front of these green double-sided tags have text of "Green Tag. This scaffold has been erected according to Federal/State Regulations and is safe for all craft work. See back of tag for daily inspection" along with spaces for weight capacity, load capacity, date erected and signature of competent person. The back of the tag has header text of "This scaffold has been inspected by the undersigned competent person and found to be safe for use on last date specified" along with spaces for the date and signature of the competent person. Additional green scaffold tags are also available.
Tag ties are NOT included. We recommend our 50 lb pull strength ties for meeting OSHA lockout/tagout requirements, item # 12255.
These 5.75" h x 3.25" w (14.6 x 8.3 cm) tags are available in two different materials in packages of 5 or 25:
- Card Stock. Tear-resistant, waterproof, pulp-free - no wood pulp or paper content. These pliable 10-mil polyolefin-based tags will not crack, distort, or shrink. Ideal for indoor and short-term outdoor conditions. Scuff-resistant, matte surface. 3/8" hole.
- Rigid Plastic. High-strength, tear-resistant, weather-resistant, and chemical-resistant for dirty and greasy environments. 15-mil thick rigid polyethylene, relatively bendable and ideal for indoor and outdoor temporary tagging applications. Mar-resistant, matte surface. 3/8" hole w/ a reinforced metal grommet to resist pull-off.
