- Confined Space Hot Work Permit Tags
Product Description
These Hot Work Permit tags are designed specifically to work with our Secure-Status Safety Tag Holders (item # 12256) but can also be used as a standard tag.
Under OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.146, the Permit-Required Confined Spaces Standard, confined space operations capable of providing a source of ignition (riveting, welding, cutting, burning, heating etc.) require the employer's written authorization before the work commences. Help your employees comply with these yellow double-sided tags. The front and back feature a "Hot Work Permit" header. The front has an extensive checklist and space for the specific tasks as well as approval. The rear says "Do not remove this tag! To do so without authority will mean disciplinary action! It is here for a purpose. See other side" and has space for detailed remarks.
Tag ties are NOT included. We recommend our 50 lb pull strength ties for meeting OSHA lockout/tagout requirements, item # 12255.
