Dean-Stark distillation receivers classically come in two versions - one for solvents less dense than water and one for solvents that are more dense. This innovative Dean-Stark trap does double duty!

As the solvent and water co-distill, they separate into two immiscible layers on the left side of the receiver. The lower three-way PTFE stopcock allows for the withdrawal or return of the distillate during the distillation process.  This model also incorporates a 10/30 outer joint for use with 3" immersion thermometer such as item # CG-3506-N-03.

The tapered and graduated reservoir has a 20 mL capacity, and the unit is equipped with 24/40 joints.  The approximate dimensions are 400 mm h x 130 mm w.
