The AP660-160R is a replacement checkstop for Guardian G6020 Thermostatic Mixing Valves. This items works only with that model and can fit on either the left or right (hot or cold) water inlet.

This item is sold individually. If you want to replace two both checkstops, you must purchase two of this item.

With proper weekly cycling, Guardian's TMVs should give you years of trouble-free service. If you encounter an issue, contact Guardian Technical Support to troubleshoot. If the factory identifies a component issue, we can special order any other additional parts you may require which including the following:

  • AP660-140R Replacement Outlet for G6020
  • 660-130R Mesh Filter for G6020 (Pkg of 12)
  • 660-138R Replacement Temperature Gauge for G6020 and G6040
  • 660-168R Replacement Gasket for G6020 (Pkg of 6)
  • AP660-170 Replacement Mounting Bracket Assembly for G6020

There are no valve assemblies to replace in this unit. If there is an internal issue (which is unlikely), you will likely need to replace the entire unit.
