Guardian G1629 Emergency Shower, Recess Mounted, Stainless Steel Shower Head

Item #: G1629

Normal Availability: 1-2 business days

Product Description

The Guardian Equipment G1629 shower is designed for recessed mounting in a suspended or finished ceiling as shown here (panel not included). It has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel shower head and face plate. The unit is activated by pulling the handle downward, and the shower will remain on by itself until the rod is pushed upward. The G1627 is similar except it uses rings on pull chains to achieve the activation and deactivation functions.

Features Options

Application: Emergency shower for recess mounting in a finished ceiling or soffit. Shower is activated by rigid pull rod.

Shower Head: 10" diameter with flange for flush mounting in ceiling and 20 GPM flow control. Shower head is stainless steel with stainless steel face plate.

An optional G6040 thermostatic mixing valve  (tempering unit) which precisely blends hot and cold water to deliver warm (tepid) water as provided by ANSI Z358.1-2014 may be required under your state or local plumbing codes.
