This Ohaus Incubating Waving Shaker is designed to incubate samples from 5 °C above ambient to 65 °C and to mix with a smooth, low-foaming three-dimensional “wave” motion. The microprocessor control provides for easy electronic adjustment in 1° increments for tilt and 1 rpm increments for speed while the unit is running. A PID controller ensures precise temperature control. The units slowly increase speed to the desired set point. All units have overload protection, audible and visual alarms when the system is obstructed or overloaded and touchpad controls with easy-to-read, independent LED displays for temperature, speed/tilt and time.
This shaker has a 2.3 kg (5.1 lb) capacity and can hold a variety of containers on the included mat or optional dimpled mat. The shaker can be run in conditions from 5 to 40 °C (41 to 104 °F), maximum 80% relative humidity, non-condensing and comes with a 2 year warranty. Typical applications include hybridizations, cell cultures, blotting techniques, staining and destaining gels.
