Product Description
This model was discontinued by Guardian Equipment in 2023. The recommended replacement is the G1890 which is identical to the G1892 but has a stainless steel valve instead of a PVC-coated brass valve that was featured on this model.
The Guardian Equipment G1892 is a constructed entirely of PVC and PVC-coated brass for superior corrosion resistance and comes in your choice of orange, yellow, and green. The G1891 is similar but is constructed entirely of stainless steel. Similar non-stainless models are the G1814 which has a stainless steel bowl, the G1814P which has a plastic bowl and metal parts. Additional corrosion-resistant and ADA-compliant models are also available.
SHIPMENT NOTE: This product is relatively fragile and Guardian prefers to ship this rather compact/lightweight item as freight to prevent damage in transit. Application: Eyewash for wall mounting. Constructed entirely in PVC and PVC-coated brass. Ideal for industrial environments where harsh acids and caustics are present. Two GS-Plus™ spray-type spray heads deliver a flood of water for rinsing eyes. Spray Head Assembly: Two GS-Plus™ spray heads. Each head has a “flip top” dust cover, internal flow control and filter to remove impurities from the water flow. Valve: 1/2" IPS PVC-coated brass stay-open ball valve. Valve is US-made with chrome plated brass ball and Teflon® seals. Bowl: 11-3/4" diameter orange ABS plastic. Mounting: Heavy duty PVC wall bracket. Supply: 1/2" NPT female inlet. Waste: 1 1/2" socket weld female outlet. Sign: ANSI-compliant identification sign, item # 250-007G. Quality Assurance: Unit is completely assembled and water tested prior to shipment. |
GRN Green ABS plastic bowl. HS Auxiliary hand-held drench hose for rinsing eyes, face or body. YEL Yellow ABS plastic bowl. Application Note An optional G6020 thermostatic mixing valve (tempering unit) which precisely blends hot and cold water to deliver warm (tepid) water as provided by ANSI Z358.1-2014 may be required under your state or local plumbing codes.

All Guardian items are manufactured in the USA. This item ships in a box approximately 14" x 14" x 12" (35.6 x 35.6 x 30.5 cm) weighing approximately 8 pounds (3.6 kg); however it generally ships as freight - see the note in the second paragraph (above).
