Insuleeze Insulating Kit

InsulEze insulating kits make insulating in the laboratory an easy, neat job. InsulEze insulation comes in three different kits that can be used alone or combined for different insulating jobs. The kits contain everything necessary to insulate virtually any application you have against heat transfer, while protecting your personnel at the same time. InsulEze insulation can be used as a heat shield, as a cold shield, for insulating over heaters, as a shock absorber, as a light shield, to protect personnel, as a shatter shield, or for protecting sensitive surfaces.

The kits come with insulating materials that can be cut and shaped to almost any size, with minimum fraying of the insulation edges. The fasteners provided make InsulEze insulation quick and easy to apply and remove from your application, and it is easy to clean. Glas-Col manufactures InsulEze insulation using materials that are non-hazardous, non-flammable and inert to most chemicals. That makes this insulating product ideal for the safety-conscious lab.

IK210 components:  three pieces of 400 °C fiberglass tape that is 1/32" thick in 10' x 1", 10' x 3" , 5' x 6" and 60" of 1" and 60" of 1" and 4-" of 1" Velcro hook and loop fasteners.  Weight: 0.9 lb

IK220 components:  one insulating pad 15" wide x 30" long x 1/2" thick for use to 250 °C. Unimpregnated fiberglass fabric on one side, moisture-resistant and cleanable silicone impregnated fiberglass fabric on the other. With 72" lengths of high-temp tying cord.  Weight: 1.4 lb

IK230 components:  one 400 °C insulating tape 3" wide x 10' long x 1/2" thick. High-temp fiberglass on both sides. Dual attachment eyelets on each end. With two 60" lengths of high-temp tying cord.  Weight: 1.4 lb

IK240 components: includes each of the IK210, IK220, and IK230 kits - you get it all!   Weight: 4.8 lb
