Product Description

The Ohaus Explorer-EXR™ Semi-Micro Balances are extremely accurate and durable, and are ideal for laboratory work and research that requires accuracy to the hundred-thousandth. The new Explorer-EXR series offers an intuitive interface, outstanding weighing performance, and an environmentally friendly design, establishing a groundbreaking standard for laboratory operations. The models have capacities of up to 220 g, and resolutions up to 0.01 mg. The precision-machined, solid metal weighing cells coupled with Ohaus’ signature AutoCal™ internal calibration system ensure accurate, reproducible measurements.

Each unit features a seamless setup with built-in automatic calibration, touchless sensors, a ventilated weighing pan, digital weighing cell, and internal environment sensors. An intuitive 7-inch glass touchscreen, digital leveling, and simplified data management ensure ease of use, while effortless installation and a chemical-protective design ensures efficiency and comfort.

Typical application modes include basic weighing, parts counting, check counting, percent weighing, check weighing, dynamic weighing, totalization, formulation, differential, density determination, and peak hold. Weight displays feature 18 weighing units, including Gram, Milligrams, Carat, Newton, Ounce, Troy Ounce, Grain, Pennyweight, Momme, msg, tl H, tl S, tl T, tcl, tola, baht, and 2 custom set options.

The die-cast metal base, 3.1" x 3.1" (80 mm x 80 mm) stainless steel pan and thick metal housing withstand daily wear and tear, and are powered with an AC adapter (included). Also featured are an anti-static glass draftshield with flip-door top and a replaceable in-use cover. Communication via USB Host Type A (x2), USB Device Type B, USB Device Type C, Ethernet (RJ45), RS232, and an optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Dongle (accessory sold separately). Also supported are HID connection to PC or keyboard without drivers, and 2-way communication to provide seamless data transfer.
